Engine Ignition Coil 12v - Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 TB42 CARBY 

This is the ignition coil that is located on the passenger side in the engine bay next to the overflow bottle. It is responsible for transforming the battery's low 12-volt charge into the thousands of volts required to create a spark at the spark plugs, igniting the fuel and air mixture in the engine cylinders.

An ignition coil replacement is necessary when the original unit fails due to age, heat stress, or internal electrical faults. Symptoms of a failing coil include engine misfires, rough idling, poor acceleration, decreased fuel economy, and difficulty starting the engine.

NOTE - Does Not suit TB42 carby engine with ballast resistor.
