Genuine Nissan Power Steering Pump Upper Adjuster Bracket - Nissan Patrol Y60 GQ & Y61 GU TD42

This adjuster bracket is fitted to the power steering pump on TD42 engines. Its job is to provide the adjustment and locking point to maintain the correct tension on the power steering drive belt. Due to constant engine vibration and the tension required for the belt, these brackets are a known weak point and are prone to cracking and eventually breaking completely.
