The rear panhard rod is a crucial component of your Nissan Patrol's suspension system. If your Patrol is lifted without an adjustable panhard rod, the axle can be pulled to one side, affecting handling and tire wear. This adjustable panhard rod allows you to fine-tune your vehicle's axle position whilst fitted the the vehicle.

It is recommended to fit an adjustable Panhard rod to a car lifted over 2".
However the rear Panhard rod is a Weak link, and can be replaced no matter what lift you have.

These have a slight bend in them to have more clearance around the diff centre, especially needed for H260 in the TB45 series 1 manual models. They are not straight.

• Nissan Patrol Y61 GU Late Utes Coil Sprung Only (Very Rare)

The Difference between the Early and the Late models is the size of the bush at the Chassis end.
If the Bushes are the same size at both ends then it is an early Arm,
If the Bush at the Chassis end is Obviously Larger then it is the Later type of arm.
