Glow Plug - Nissan Patrol GU Y61 ZD30

This glow plug is fitted directly into the cylinder head of your diesel engine. It is an essential heating element used to assist in starting a diesel engine, particularly in cold conditions.

Diesel engines rely on high compression to ignite the fuel-air mixture. When the engine is cold, the cylinder walls and air can absorb too much of this heat, preventing ignition.
